If, David Foster Wallace, author of Infinte Jest and Consider the Lobster among others, had not erased his map in 2008, he would have been 50 today. The world is a less literate place without him in it and I regret having only recently dug into his work. Although the idea of a happy birthday would have probably been lost on someone with such a deeply depressive mind, I wish I could have wished him a 50th one.
I believe a good game of Eschaton would be in order!
