Coming Soon: Brave (June 22, 2012)

For those of you fretting over Pixar’s future and wondering if all they have coming up are sequels, fear not, a new story will arrive next summer in the form of Brave.

One of the most unexpected and welcome aspect of seeing Cars 2 in 3D was having the opportunity to see the teaser trailer for Pixar’s next film.  According to IMDB and Walt Disney Studios, “Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, “Brave” features Merida, an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of royalty. Merida makes a reckless choice that unleashes unintended peril and forces her to spring into action to set things right”.

The heroine Merida is voiced by Kelly MacDonald (Trainspotting, No Country for Old Men) and also features a cast including Emma Thompson, Craig Ferguson and Billy Connolly.  From the looks of the trailer it seems we still have something to be excited about.

The only trailer available thus far is the horrible pirated copy that I’ve posted below… when the official trailer is released I will update it… in the meantime, remember, it was much better in the theater with 3D glasses on and being tall enough to see over the seats.

Here is the official trailer… enjoy.
